Anime stories tend to appeal to most young people because anime also has the ability to offer an emotional, action-packed, and romantic experience like a movie. Some anime are so old that people of all ages watch them. Netflix is also trying to capture this anime market by creating many different series.
Netflix released the second season of its original anime series “My Happy Marriage” on March 18, 2025. The first season was very popular on Netflix. I just finished watching the second season. I tried to provide a detailed review of “My Happy Marriage Season 2” without giving away any spoilers.
This anime series is based on a famous Japanese novel. I understand you’ve seen the first season. In the second season, Miyo Saimori slowly begins to get closer to her fiancé Kiyoka Kudo. Kudo also begins to really love Miyo, but he expresses this feeling at the end of the season. At the beginning of the season, Miyo learns through some means about the full power of her dream vision: if she can control it, she can do anything.
The Gifted Communion’s dominance spreads rapidly throughout the kingdom. Commander Kiyoka Kudo and the kingdom’s army make many efforts to stop its evil influence, but for some reason, they are unable to stop it. Some high-ranking officials in her country are colluding with the Gifted Communion members to satisfy their selfishness and greed. This scene thrills the mind.
Miyo Saimori tries to establish good relations with her fiancée Kiyoka Kudo by meeting the royal family, but Kudo’s mother treats her very poorly. She refuses to accept her as a daughter-in-law. But Miyo works very diligently to gain Kudo’s mother’s trust, even risking her life to do so.
Her second season thrills audiences. The Communion of the Gifted, which works to change the country’s political system, creates many dangers for its purpose. Commander Kudo and his kingdom’s royal army fight fiercely to eliminate these threats. Along the way, Kudo has to face many tortures, which causes internal disagreements within his family.
I really enjoyed the second season of “My Happy Marriage.” I hadn’t watched a good anime for many days, but My Happy Marriage fulfilled my wish very well. In it, the love relationship between Kudo and Miyo was shown with such affection. That scene looks spectacular. I am completely impressed with this Netflix anime. If I make a Top Best Anime Collection, then I will definitely include it in my collection.
