Running Point Story Summary
Isla Gordon is the CEO of The Los Angeles Waves Basketball franchise. The Waves franchise is her family’s family business. Her father founded this basketball franchise. Isla was earlier a part of the controversial Playbook magazine. She used to work as a model in this magazine.
Her father made his elder son Cameron the CEO of Waves after him. Isla Gordon has a total of three brothers, but in Episode 2 she has a total of four brothers. The reason behind this is an illegitimate relationship of Isla’s father.
Cameron is addicted to drugs. The news of his addiction comes in public, which has a deep impact on the valuation of the Waves franchise. After this, Cameron is forced to give his CEO position to his sister Isla Gordon. He does not trust his other brothers to handle the responsibilities of this position, so he chooses his elder sister Isla. After this, he gets admitted to a rehab center to get rid of his drug addiction.
When Isla Gordon takes over the position of CEO, she realizes that there are many irregularities in her franchise. The Gordon family is the richest family in Los Angeles. Isla’s father is a very cruel and greedy person by nature, but Isla Gordon’s character is completely opposite to this. She is different from everyone in her family by her nature.
After attaining the position of CEO, she wins everyone’s trust by building friendly relations with the players of her franchise. She has to face a lot of difficulties in doing this. Along with her business profession, Isla also improves the relations of her family. Isla Gordon makes this franchise a successful basketball team by making some fundamental changes in Waves with her hard work.

Kate Hudson (Isla) has tried to play the character of a funny woman. Her performance is the most important part of this TV series. Apart from the main role of this show, she is also the executive producer of Running Point.
After Kate Hudson, the second most attractive acting has been done by Scott MacArthur. I found his character to be the funniest in this Season One. He has done many excellent comedy scenes, which seem very entertaining.
