This department is led by former US President George Mullen (played by Robert De Niro).
George Mullen is given the responsibility of this mission by the current US President Evelyn Mitchell (played by Angela Bassett). Former President George Mullen did not contest the election for the second time, because there were some mistakes in his personal life, due to which he retired from politics. But seeing his leadership ability, he was made the head of the Zero Day Investigation Department, so that he could expose the criminals behind this cyber attack.
George Mullen has to face many big difficulties in this mission. He tries to bring out the truth of this big conspiracy on the strength of his strategic thinking, intelligence and courage. The story gets more exciting with each episode, and the last episode of the series is extremely thrilling and exciting.
